George Karlaftis, a former standout football player at West Lafayette and Purdue University, has achieved his second Super Bowl victory.
Playing as a defensive end for the Kansas City Chiefs, Karlaftis made an immediate impact in the game by recovering a fumble, helping to end San Francisco’s first drive.
In addition to his Super Bowl success, Karlaftis has had an impressive career so far, including being named the American Family Insurance Defensive Player of the Year in high school and earning All-Big Ten selections during his time at Purdue.
He was drafted in the first round of the 2022 NFL draft by Kansas City and has already started 33 regular season games in his first two seasons. With a total of 16.5 career sacks, Karlaftis’s accomplishments continue to shine.
